The Most Meaningful Art I Create Isn't Always On A Canvas
Why giving back has become one of the most rewarding parts of my journey as an artist.
When I started Bartosik Studios, my focus was on creating original artwork that people could connect with. I wanted to experiment with different materials, push the boundaries of traditional painting, and create pieces that would bring something unique into someone's home or business.
What I didn't necessarily anticipate was how much fulfillment I would find in using that same creativity to help others.
Through my involvement with organizations like Thompson, Habitat for Humanity, and Good Shepherd, I've discovered that some of the most meaningful experiences I've had as an artist haven't been about completing a painting or making a sale. They've been about the people I've met, the causes I've been introduced to, and the opportunity to contribute something that might make a difference.
It's reminded me that the value of art isn't always measured by what's hanging on a wall. Sometimes, it's measured by what happens because of it.
